If you find yourself heading to or from the Golden Isles and you are like me and don't particularly care for franchise fast food for the most part, then do yourself a favor and get off the parkway at Lucky St in Baxley. Nestled across the tracks from the Appling County courthouse you will find a roadside BBQ stand. I had some giant, tender, and juicy ribs, slaw and potato salad. Awesome! It was enough for 2 meals.

Best barbecue around town! The stuffed potatoes are my absolute favorite. I highly recommend anyone to give it a try. The staff are also great.

Chicken stuffed potatoe with brocolli and cheese was good ...the brocolli cuts had a few pieces that were a little hard to chew, but overall good. Also, you gotta try the oreo pudding..it's awesome!
